The future of labor market inclusion post COVID-19

Initially a health issue, the COVID-19 pandemic has also become a social and economic challenge for the whole world. Social isolation policies and the subsequent changes led to modification of working arrangements and business operations, affected pay levels and excluded many from the labor market. It is difficult to precisely define the magnitude of the impact, but the rapid deterioration of the labor market and the vulnerability of the labor market boosted the challenge of productive inclusion to the center of the social debate. This project was born from the recognition that the emergency actions undertaken to deal with the social challenges of the pandemic should be complemented with a deep reflection on productive inclusion in a post-pandemic period.
