This evidence synthesis addresses the following questions: 1. What are the necessary interventions and adaptations in the school environment (primary and secondary) to guarantee a safe face-to-face education for the school population (boys, girls, adolescents, teachers, other institutional personnel)? 2. How to communicate effectively with the staff, families and the community? And 3. What equity considerations should be taken into account for children, parents, teachers and institutions during the return to face-to-face education?
