Among the gender disparities in our society, some of the most notable consequences can be found in the professional field. Studies show that women, even with higher levels of education than men, have lower chances of getting a job, have restricted access to elective political positions, have less participation in management positions and lower salaries than males. This synthesis of evidence discusses several options of approaching the problem, including the formation of women’s cooperative groups and professional training.
