LES BONNES PRATIQUES DE GESTION DES DECHETS PAR LES MUNICIPALITES DE LA VILLE DE YAOUNDE
SDG Localizing at 237 (www.oodblog237.com)

The increasing and uncontrolled urbanization of Cameroonian cities in general and that of Yaoundé in particular, has led to an exponential growth of urban populations. The growth of the urban population in Yaoundé, coupled with changing lifestyles and consumption habits automatically increases municipal waste generation by 5% each year (Almeida et al., 2016). This article presents, on the one hand, the problems of hygiene and insalubrities that plague the city of Yaoundé and, on the other hand, sheds light on some good practices that work by adapting them to the local context of the municipalities in the city of Yaoundé.
